Checkpoints on the usual route
Day by day (UTC)
| Day | Fixes | Miles | Last position |
|---|
Positions come from AIS, picked up mostly by receivers on shore. They reach about 20 to 40 miles out to sea, so once Vichan is well offshore there may be no new position for days, and mid-Atlantic possibly for two weeks or more. The track then jumps straight to wherever she is next heard.
